James Demetriades is a Cromwell native, a Labor/ Employment Attorney, and current Councilperson.  James was first elected to the Cromwell Town Council in 2017 and has served as liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee, LGBTQ Advisory Board, and Youth Services Advisory Board.  


James graduated from Cromwell High School in 2011 and then Fordham University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science. He then attended Quinnipiac University School of Law where he graduated in 2018 Cum Laude with two concentrations with honors in workplace law and civil advocacy. He is currently employed at Ferguson, Doyle, and Chester P.C. where he represents Unions across Connecticut. 


James is an amazing leader for our Cromwell community and we are honoring him on September 24th


On September 24 we will be honoring one of Cromwell’s best,  James Demetriades.
